Rocks: Human Interaction with the Rock Cycle

In this virtual experience you will visit Granite and Marble Crafts workshop in County Meath. Granite and Marble Crafts specialise in creating marble, granite and quartz worktops and fireplaces. Today the company employs seventeen people from the local area. This virtual experience will show you how worktops are manufactured.

In this virtual experience you will learn about the River Shannon, the longest river in Ireland. Over the last number of years, parts of the town of Athlone has experienced flooding because of its location beside the Shannon.
